Vauxhall Motors v AFC Liverpool
The VanEupen Arena
NWCFL Premier
Monday April 10th 2023
Following on from their 4-1 win away at Winsford United on Good Friday, Vauxhall Motors return to league action on Monday afternoon as they take on AFC Liverpool.
The Motormen started the game at the Barton stadium in fantastic fashion as Michael Burkey put his side in the lead. However, the scoreline was levelled two minutes later.
Burkey ensured that the game was won with an effort, that was arguably a cross, which creeped below the Winsford keeper and into the top right corner before strikes from Bobbie McDonnell and Lewis Buckley saw the tie out.
As Avro were beaten away at The Isle Of Man on Saturday, The Motormen could seal the league title with a win on Monday.
AFC Liverpool have failed to win any of their last four thus will be looking to get back to winning ways as they travel to Ellesmere Port.
