The Vauxhall Wildcats is the group that start their footballing journey with Vauxhalls.
Alongside the girls starting we invite the parents, guardians and family members to the club and very much encourage parents to be part of the setup and to also develop into coaches to help the teams grow and prosper.
VMJFC is a real family club.
As the youngest girls we appreciate it is about enjoyment and building confidence and we are excited to watch them develop as they progress through the club.
The club usually runs Wildcats sessions in the Summer and also the autumn to provide an opportunity for girls to try football.
Many of the girls then go on to stay with the club forming teams and will stay with us as part of the club.
As the u7 group grows throughout the year, teams are formed and are given the opportunity to play friendly matches against other start out teams to get experience. The team has grown in strength and numbers during the past year as more girls joined the team.
It is part of the u8 group responsibility to also offer training alongside their training so the girls can develop further band be ready for matches the next year.
The Wildcats only have club qualified FA coaches and are always looking to expand this by introducing new coaches. If you are interested in helping please enquire.
Individual development is at the core of all our training sessions to build basic football skills and techniques.
The u7 often train with the u8 team on Thursday 5 – 6 pm at Vauxhalls FC as well as other training sessions throughout the season.
The number of new teams is only restricted by the number of new players and new coaches that join the club.
