Following Vauxhall’s 4-1 victory against Ruthin Town on Saturday, Mick McGraa’s side return to action on Tuesday night as they play host to Winsford United.
Goals from Ben Holmes, Jordan Deer and a Trialist, who got a brace, took the tally to four after the scoreline was level at the break.
Winsford, simply nicknamed ‘The Blues’ were formed in 1883 as Over Wanderers and accepted voluntary relegation this Summer, opposed to laterally moving to the Midlands League.
It was a summer of change as Anthony Duckworth replaced Ray Duckworth as Chairman.
However, Lee Duckworth remained as manager.
Anthony had been at the club for seven years as finance/commercial director.
Lee was appointed in late October 2015 after spending 17 years with The Blues as a player making over 300 appearances.

Last time we met: 10th April 2023 as The Motormen won 4-1 away from home to put them on the brink of lifting the title. Michael Burkey netted twice as Bobbie McDonnell and Lewis Buckley extended the scoreline.
