This afternoon, the Northern Premier League Division One West fixtures were revealed.
Vauxhall Motors kick off their campaign with an away game at North West Counties Premier Division side, West Didsbury and Chorlton, in the Emirates FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round.
The return to the NPL for Mick McGraa’s side gets underway on Saturday, August 12th, as the Motormen host Witton Albion in the season opener.
Trips to Nantwich Town and Chasetown also follow in a busy August, as well as hosting Prescot Cables and City of Liverpool.
3 away games face Vauxhalls in September, as we visit Kidsgrove Athletic, Mossley (FA Trophy) and Bootle, as well as welcoming Leek Town to the VanEupen Arena at the end of the month.
In early October sees a trip to 1874 Northwich and at home to Hednesford, as well as Runcorn Linnets away and Clitheroe away to end the month.
Mossley and Hanley Town both visit Ellesmere Port in November, as well as Mick McGraa’s side visiting Trafford and Newcastle Town.
As we enter the festive period of December, there are games against Avro, Stalybridge Celtic, Nantwich Town and Witton Albion, before hosting Widnes on Boxing Day.
As we enter the New Year, we visit City of Liverpool on New Year’s Day, plus games at home to Chasetown and Runcorn Linnets and on the road to Clitheroe and Prescot Cables to start 2024.
In February, Bootle and 1874 Northwich come to the VanEupen, as well as a trip to Leek Town in mid-February.
As the end of the season looms, March holds away games at Avro and Hednesford Town, plus a home game versus James Kinsey’s Stalybridge Celtic.
In the final month of the season, Motors visit Widnes and Mossley, plus hosting Trafford and Newcastle Town, before the final day of the season away at Hanley Town.
Fixtures are subject to change due to Emirates FA Cup and Isuzu FA Trophy fixtures dependant on the success of both Vauxhall Motors and their opponents. Different cup competitions are also to be added in when draws have been made.
