Vauxhall Motors Football Club can confirm the resignation of Mick McGraa from his role as First Team Manager.

We’d like to put on record our thanks to Mick for his efforts over the past 5 seasons.

Since joining the club from Cammell Laird 1907 FC back in 2018, McGraa achieved two promotions, in a time period halted by COVID. An eventual promotion in the 2020-21 after a reshuffling of the non-league pyramid meant Motors were back to compete in the NWCFL Premier Division.

After an 8th place finish that season, including a Cheshire Senior Cup final, beating higher opposition along the way, McGraa prepared for a huge season in the Premier Division. A fantastic start meant Motors were flying high and set themselves up for league glory, as they clinched the title.
