Motors visit 1874 Northwich in Heath’s opening game

Vauxhall Motors travel to 1874 Northwich, as they return to Northern Premier League Division One West action, this weekend.

The Motormen have recently been struck with the news that promotion winning manager Mick McGraa has moved on to pastures new, at Bootle.

McGraa leaves Vauxhall fans having created a lot of happy memories, reaching the final of the Cheshire Senior Cup before they achieved promotion, with a league season of many glorious moments including a Saturday night to remember (if they can) on The Isle Of Man.

His former assistant Joe Heath will take to the dugout whilst the club continue their comprehensive search for a new manager behind the scenes, the exciting times are set to carry on at The VanEupen Arena.

1874 will provide a good test at The Offside Trust Stadium as in their most recent outing their willingness to graft until the very end was put on display at City Of Liverpool, returning victorious with a last minute winning strike.

All support for The Motormen is greatly appreciated thus we look forward to seeing you get behind Heath’s side on Saturday!
