Vauxhall Motors FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Alan Morgan as new First Team Joint Assistant Manager and Head Coach.

 

Morgan started his playing career as a youngster at Tranmere Rovers, progressing through the ranks and playing 65 times for the First Team.

 

He also featured professionally for Altrincham, Doncaster Rovers and Morecambe, as well as playing in the Welsh League for Porthmadog, Cefn Druids, Rhyl, Connah’s Quay Nomads and Bangor City.

 

His coaching career started in 2004 when Morgan was announced player-manager of Cefn Druids, before in the future, returning to Connah’s Quay Nomads and Bangor City as Assistant Manager.

 

He later managed Aberystwyth Town, Llandudno and Colwyn Bay, before being appointed as Assistant Manager of Marine in 2018.
